Do you offer in-person or remote sessions?
I offer both options for in-person in Hermosa Beach and remote video therapy sessions to anyone in California. I use a secure HIPAA-compliant platform which you can access conveniently on your computer, laptop or phone.
How much do you charge for sessions?
Individual counseling session fees start at $175 per 50-minute session. Couples and family counseling fees start at $200 per 50-minute session.
On occasion, a sliding scale based on household income may be offered.
Do you accept insurance?
I am in network with Aetna and Out-of-Network for all other insurances. I can offer a monthly superbill to submit to your insurance provider if you have Out-of-Network benefits. Please contact your provider to fully understand what your reimbursement options include.
What is your cancellation policy?
On the rare occasion that you may need to miss your regularly schedule session, please provide at least 48 hours advance notice to cancel or reschedule a session. You will be responsible for payment of all sessions not canceled at least 48 hours in advance.
What is a Good Faith Estimate?
Under the law, healthcare providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the bill for medical items and services.
